Mango’s Tropical Cafe Orlando has an unofficial spokesman most restaurant attractions in Orlando would die for — rapper Pitbull.
The restaurant and nightclub, which opens later this year, announced it collaborated with the rapper for a new signature vodka from Voli Vodka called “Mango’s”, which is a mango-coconut fusion of flavors and will be available at both the Orlando and Miami Mango’s operations.
“”Every time I go to Mango’s, it’s sexy women and Voli time. Get ready Orlando, dalé,” said Pitbull, in a prepared statement.
Mango’s Tropical Cafe is expected to provide International Drive with a new evening attraction that should help improve the experience for the 60 million tourists that come to the region each year. That’s especially the case for the millions of convention attendees that typically stay in the tourism corridor and look for after-hours entertainment.
Mango’s developer, Joshua Wallack, also is in the midst of fashioning the future $400 million-plus Skyplex project. The new attraction will include a polercoaster, observation tower platform, zipline, drop tower, surf park, open-air retail and entertainment complex and a hotel.
